Being 14 years younger and shorter than him.I always looked up to and respected Ben, of course most people had to look up to him. Whenever, we were together we would tease each other. I miss my dear cousin, but lots of sweet memories. Thoughts & prayers to Cheryl and family.

During the 70's Benny and my late husband worked together through the Air Force. We were casual friends, but he was so kind to attend my husband's memorial in 2013 and I will never forget the kindness he showed. So sorry for you loss.

Benny and I go back to the summer of 1962 when we were in the same flight at Air Force Officer Training School. Benny was our flight leader and he did an excellent job helping us endure 12 rigorous weeks during a miserable San Antonio heat wave. We were best of friends through OTS and maintained contact for several years. After losing contact for years, he surprised me in 1985 as he greeted me at the front door on my first day of a new civilian career at Ford Aerospace. The friendship renewed and I'm sad to say goodbye to a much respected good friend.
