Gus, you were a great friend for over 50 years ever since graduating from UND in 1954. Both of us finished our Air Force careers and retired to Colorado Springs where we went to many UND vs Colorado College hockey games. I will not soon forget the good times we shared. May fair skies and favorable winds follow you to your eternal resting place.

What a great tribute to Corky? We loved reading it. Great pictures.
Vern hand a great time talking about old cars and Uncle Ben when he stopped in. I made Corky a fish supper. Enjoyed a brandy or two and visited for a few hours.
I wish we could have been there. Our thoughts.are with you all. He was a great cousin. Your cousin Noreen & Vern

I did not know Gus. He probably transferred from Minot AFB before I got there in 1969. From the pictures I wish I had known him. It is obvious he enjoyed life to its fullest.

We will always remember "Gus" and family. The girls were visiting often, and welcomed to have such serious topics to reflect on with them.
Gus was a friend to all,and ready to share his treasures as he seemed to always have the "inside scoop" on things!
I for one always looked for any opportunity to talk with him. I miss him, the friendly Gus from accross Tangley Rd.

Tho having never met 'Ben' I was fortunate enough to have Josephine for my geometry & home room teacher at Central High in Devils Lake, ND 1959-61....she often spoke with pride of 'my brother Ben' using him as an example of good citizenship to all of her students....my sympathies to his family,

Condolences to the family and friends. He will be missed by us all. Every time I see a polished, shiny car, especially the big finned Cadillac from the late 1950's, I think of Uncle Gus and how he enjoyed maintaining his beautiful automobiles.
