Bernard J. Wilbor left this world behind on June 28, 2023, he went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Bernard is with our Heavenly Father; he is now fully restored in His Glory.
Bernard was a loving father, he has four beautiful children and a baby boy on the way. He was very funny (his laugh was contagious), Bernard was kind, loyal, and enormously intelligent. He had the touch! Bernard could make something out of nothing, he never complained and would take the shirt off his back to help another in need. He loved cars with a passion, he loved working on cars and left behind several custom pieces. Bernard also loved cooking, martial arts, music, and spending time with his family, children, and friends.
Bernard is survived by his mother, Noodang Wilbor; brother, Benjamin F. Wilbor, Jr. (Regina Terry) - Natalia Wilbor; sister, Keeta M. Ngwayah (Archie Ngwayah) - Keyon and Kobe Prior, Elleana and Noah Ngwayah; sister, Catherine E. Blacksten (Gabriel Blacksten); brother, Brian L. Wilbor (Heather Wilbor) - Roman Wilbor; son, Hezekiah Thomas; daughter, Suliah Thomas; son, Isaiah Thomas; daughter, Iyanah Wilbor; and son, Zion Wilbor (due September 2023).
Bernard is reunited with his father, Benjamin F Wilbor, Sr. who passed away on October 12, 2012. They are now in each other's arms with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A Funeral Service is being held at 1:00PM July 11, 2023 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Burial following the service, 2:30PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
