Bertha Garrett Obituary

Bertha Mae Garrett, 84, passed away Feb. 12, 2006. She is survived by her children, Ruth (Alyn) Wolf of Colorado Springs, Linda (Vernon) Blazina of Pueblo, and Debra Garrett of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, April Wolf, Kevin Wolf and Derek (Brandi) Wolf and great-grandchildren: Hailee and Jaedon Wolf; sisters, Hilma (Orrin) Hibschle of Grand Junction, CO, and Violet Lyons of Sacramento, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Harry W. Garrett and her parents, William and Hilma Carson preceded her in death. Bertha was born in Leadville, CO. on February 6, 1922. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She had a beautiful voice and is now singing with heaven's angels. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 N. Academy, Colorado Springs, with a reception following. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 1315 Acero Ave., Pueblo CO. In lieu of flowers and food, those who desire may make donations in Bertha's memory to Lutheran Village Townhome Owner's Association in care of Montgomery and Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo., 81003. Online condolences, www.montgomerysteward.com.
