Bettie Brassart Obituary

Bettie Ann Brassart, 82, passed away December 15, 2005 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born November 23, 1923 in Colorado Springs to William R. and Mary E. (Johnson) Aitken, who preceded her in death. Bettie was a devoted mother and her love for family was her greatest joy. She attended Colorado Springs High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1941. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Bettie was married to Louis A. Brassart for 57 years before he preceded her in death in 2001. Survivors include three children, Patricia (Doug) Ellison, Sharon (Jack) Smith and William (Karen) Brassart; eight grandchildren, Bill Ellison, Cathy Turner, Kimberly Wasilowski, James, Jon and Mike Smith, Richard and Dan Brassart; six great grandchildren and one sister, Bunny (Dick) Sutherland. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2005 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors. Funeral services are Monday, December 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., Lehmberg Chapel, First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, followed by a private burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
