Betty McConnaughey the daughter of Marvin Gosage and Evelyn (Serber) Hamilton was born Ju;y 17, 1927 in Prescott, AZ and departed this life Feb 19, 2009 at the home of her life long friends, Frank & Jane Losh. Betty was a resident of the Ava, MO area for the past 3 years from Colorado Springs, CO. Betty and Carroll McConnaughey were united in marriage in Colorado Springs, CO. Carrol and Betty were blessed with three sons. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Michael. she is survived by two sons, Steve and wife Carmalita and Mark McConnaughey, both on Colorado Springs, CO, four grandchildren, David and wife Trish, Nathan and wife Nicole, Maura and husband Dustin, and Mark, four great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Andru, Auna, and Aisling, life long friends, Frank and Jane Losh, Ava, MO, three brothers, Gary Gosage and wife Gail, David Hamilton and Jim Hamilton all of Colorado Springs, CO. Betty enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her friends and her dog Peaches. Betty and Carroll enjoyed their occasional trips to Cripple Creek. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will hold a cele- bration of life in Colorado Springs, CO at a later date.
