Betty E. Pflibsen passed away on January 31, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona where she had made her home since October of 2015. Betty, daughter of Morris John Schock and Xena Patterson, was born May 18, 1929 at Ames, Iowa. She graduated from high school in Bode, Iowa in 1947. In 1950 she graduated from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines, Iowa. She was married August 30, 1953 to Donald R. Pflibsen at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode, Iowa.
Betty worked as an R.N. in Des Moines, Iowa, Fort Dodge, Iowa and Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was always caring for others, active in her profession, community, and church. She enjoyed her family, home and flowers, needlework, traveling, hiking, and various classes.
