Betty Robinson Obituary

Robinson
BETTY "JODI" JO (JONES) ROBINSON
October 10, 1941 January 13, 2021
Our family is heartbroken by the recent loss of Jodi Robinson who peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones January 13, 2021. She was devoted to her family and was loved by everyone. Jodi was so full of life and laughter it is hard to believe she left us at the young age of 79.
She had a love for travel and explored numerous destinations in the states and abroad with her husband Ray. She loved playing a round of golf with her friends at the Colorado Springs Country Club and socializing with her friends at the Lounge in the Village. She was a huge Neil Diamond fan. Loved ones can remember her every time one of his songs is played.
Jodi was born in Wayne Nebraska on October 10, 1941 to Robert and Aileen (Agnew) Jones. She graduated from Napa High School in 1959. After graduating, Jodi married her former husband Jack Starkie and accompanied him throughout his Air Force career before settling in Colorado Springs. She was a fabulous stay at home mom for years before starting her career as a Catering Manager at Embassy Suites Hotel. The job used her social talent and love of party planning. She is survived by her husband Ray Robinson of Colorado Springs and children, Karen Cogburn, Ken Starkie and Kevin Starkie. She is also survived by her siblings Bill Jones of Benicia, CA and Jeannie Aguirre of Vacaville, CA as well as 14 grandchildren: Blake, Troy, Morgan, Emily, Taylor, Andrew, Lance, Maggie, Kyle, Mabel, Michael, Jonathon, Brixton, and Elias. There will be a Celebration of Life with family and friends later this summer when her family from California can attend.
