Betty Unruh Obituary
Betty was born on July 2, 1945, in Hayden, Colorado, growing up on her parents' sheep and Angus ranch. She received her nursing degree, then worked at Fort Logan psychiatric hospital and then as a labor and delivery nurse in Nebraska. Betty married Gary in 1969 and they raised four wonderful children in Monument, CO, while she lived her dream as a stay-at-home mom. Betty also taught Lamaze classes and maintained an active nursing license.
Betty made it a priority to spend individual time with and connect with each grandchild. Her surrounding inner energy resonated in her and through her; she was our earth angel.
She is survived by Gary, her four children (their spouses): Laura, Eric (Angela), Christine (Dan) and Jason and nine grandchildren; she is also survived by her mother, Veda Wyman, her brother Steven Wyman. Betty was preceded in death by newborn sister, Mary Linn; her sister, Harva Lou Wyman Buchanan and her father Harvey Wyman.

Betty was a light to everyone who knew her. A supportive wife to Gary and loving mother and grandmother. The Lord is blessed to have her in His arms....we are blessed to have known her.

Better Ann was a childhood friend. Walked to and from school, shared many laughs through the years. She was so good about visiting with my Mom, Eloise Water's, on her trips to Craig. My sympathy to the family.
