Beverly Darling Obituary

Bev Darling, 76, of Gold River, California passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 12, 2007. Loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born in Newton, Kansas to Frank and Linda Janzen. Bev was a medical laboratory technician, homemaker, and mother of four boys. She retired from the first of these vocations in 1982 but never from the other two. She had a passion for gardening, traveling, volunteerism, and spending time with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her two sisters, Phyllis Abbey and Betty Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Steven of Gold River, California; son, Corbin and daughter-in-law, Lisa of Golden, Colorado; son, Trenton and daughter-in-law, Kristin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, David and daughter-in-law, Michiko Toki of San Francisco, California; and three grandchildren, Clare, Jackson, and Tesslyn. Memorial services will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2007. Memorial donations may be made to the Sutter Cancer Center, Roseville, California via Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation or to the Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross.
