Beverly And Jack Mahay

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Beverly and Jack Mahay, who shared 40 wonderful years of marriage. Jack, a former Army veteran and successful dentist, passed away on March 26, 2023 at their home in Scottsdale, AZ -- he was 84. Beverly joined Jack in heaven on February 24, 2025, passing peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family -- she was 91. Over the years, Bev and Jack were avid skiers, tennis players, and golfers, and were longtime members of the Colorado Springs Racquet Club and Colorado Springs Country Club. For over 50 years, they called Colorado Springs home, where Jack had a successful dental practice for 40 years. They are survived by Bev's 2 sons, Todd Headlee of Scottsdale, AZ, and Lance Headlee of Carefree, AZ; Jack's daughter, Heidi Mahay of Scottsdale, AZ; Bev's sister, Janet Pino of Fort Collins, CO; Bev's nieces, Robin Busteed and Kim Pino, both of Fort Collins, CO; Bev's nephew, Mike Brenneman of North Carolina; Bev's cousin, Cheryl Kilgore of Colorado Springs; and Bev and Jack's granddaughter, Bailey Rae Headlee of Carefree, AZ. A private family interment service was held at the Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs on April 10th 2025, followed by a "Celebration of Life" at the Garden of the Gods Resort & Club. Bev & Jack were deeply loved and will be forever missed and remembered in our hearts. A memorial video can be seen by going to: www.MahayMemorial.com

Jack was my dentist till his retirement. I considered him my friend as well as dentist.
Many memories of ski bus adventures. Rest in peace Jack and Beverly.

So saddened to see this today. Jack was our family dentist for years and a dear friend. He took care of my brother, Andy Andersen, and came to his funeral when he died from agent orange. A truly caring man and a treasure. Loved him and had the pleasure of spending many Sertoma Christmas parties with him and Bev.

I worked for Jack as his hygienist for many years in Colorado Springs - thru him I met Bev and loved them both! God speed and know you both were loved by so many!!
