A lovely, gentle lady who had a tremendous strength of spirit. She was exceedingly loyal to her friends and is certainly missed by all who knew her. See you someday in Heaven, Beverly.

BJ was beautifully memorable through and through. The trust in me she showed during a very difficult time for her family meant the world to me. She was an individual who was easy to love, cherish, and trust. Indeed, BJ was selfless to the core. I will always remember her courageous smile.

I was honored to know her. Kind, considerate, fun-loving, and a real trooper through her illness. Beautiful inside and out, unselfish. So giving. Missed! Condolences to Ruhner and family and friends.

BJ was my special friend. We golfed at Kennedy...walked the course as long as we could... then took a cart...went to the club house to enjoy lunch and watch other golfers still on the course. Time to chat. Reminisce.
BJ was my travel mate to Costa Rica in 2006; a great trip. We shopped at Macy's...she usually found something. Blue was her color! Occasionally purple. She decorated her home...painting the walls herself. Did I say she liked blue? She chose blue paint and it looked terrific!
She enjoyed working out at 24 HR Fitness on East Hamden; that was her spot. Exercise classes brought BJ more friends...not only at the gym but also for lunches. Long walks and hiking were also favorites. She was a good friend. She kept her longtime friends...they were very important to her. I was blessed to be one.
The plan was to drive to Montana...see schoolmates, friends and family. That didn't happen but we kept talking about it.
BJ will always be remembered by me, my family and friends. She touched our lives and we are better for it. God Bless You, BJ.
