Beverly Shonts Obituary
Beverly was born in August 1958 in Torrington, Wyoming to parents Ernest and Antonie. She graduated from Chugwater High School in 1976, and soon thereafter graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism.
Beverly and Harvey Shonts were married in June 1979 and created a life together, proudly raising two wonderful children, Edwin and Emma. Together Beverly and Harvey built and managed two successful businesses while simultaneously growing the family ranch.
Beverly was the owner and operator of Cameo Electrolysis in Colorado Springs for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time gardening, cooking for family, and especially enjoyed working on the ranch with her husband.
She is lovingly remembered by her family as being a very strong individual who was a natural leader, but most of all a loving and dependable mother who is dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband Harvey D. Shonts, her children Edwin L. Shonts and Emma L. Shroyer, and grandson Alex D. Shonts; all of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by her siblings Betty-Anne Haines, Marie (Haines) Frazier, Patricia Haines, Dave Haines, and Dudley Haines.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Lloyd Wilkins, Antonie Marie Zavorka, and brother Douglas Haynes.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 14 at 10:00am at Sunnyside Christian Church with an interment immediately following at the Peyton Cemetery.

So very sorry to hear about Beverly..may god bless her family and guide you threw this difficult time ..Beverly and I was in the same class for many years "Class of 76"....she was a dear friend in school always kind and thoughtful of others. We lost track of one another in our older years but our high school days was full of memories..God Bless!!

My condolences to Beverly's family. I also knew Beverly as a fellow electrologist here in Colorado Springs. I had lost touch with her, although Gezelle & I have been in touch over the years. Remembering your family in prayer as you adjust to the loss of Beverly.

Deepest sympathy to Beverly's family.
It is so sad to have Beverly leave us. Although we haven't kept in touch since she retired as an electrologist, we remember her as a warm, generous, kind and soft fellow electrologist that attended our meetings.

So sorry to hear of Beverly's passing. We first met her out at the ranch last year at the neighborhood 4th of July gathering. She made us feel so welcome as we met many of our new neighbors. You are all in our prayers during this difficult time.
