I remember Billie fondly having met him when I used to work for his accountant. For several years I used to deliver his monthly financial statements and I loved visiting with him and listening to his stories. He used to hold my year old daughter on his lap. He was a real sweetheart.

Uncle Billie was a creative and talented man with diverse interests and a sparkle in his eye. I admired him most for his entrepreneurial spirit...proof that the American Dream exists. As a young child, I recall two rows of juniper plants and a garden hose. Those were the beginning of the successful Harding Nursery. The world could benefit from more visionaries like Uncle Billie.
