Bill passed away May 18th as result of complications from a fall in his home.

He was a salesman at heart. Selling everything from bread door-to-door, to high-end motorcoaches. He was an award winning salesman for several automotive and recreational vehicle dealerships in the Colorado Springs area. He always provided his customers the best possible service. He and his family were very disappointed in the "customer service" that he was provided by the Penrose ER and Orthopedic staff in his final days.

Originally from Beloit Kansas, Bill and his family moved around a bit spending time in Rolla, Springfield, and Warrensburg Missouri, ultimately landing in Colorado Springs in 1971. He worked and owned several businesses in the Pikes Peak region, including the Midland Riding Stables south of Divide, and High Country Kawasaki in Woodland Park.

Bill was always an adventurer. Traveling the US, visiting our northern and southern neighbors, and sailing in the Gulf of California. Although all his dreams were not met, Bill spent many enjoyable hours planning his trips - realized or not.

Bill liked bears. He especially enjoyed watching the bears visit the backyard of his Colorado City home and following those of the North American Bear Center via the internet.

Bill is survived by his sons Brad and Kelly, daughters Tracy and Deidre, eight grandchildren, and three (soon to be four) great grandchildren.

Per Bill's wishes, no service will be held.
