Birk was my brother, Hardy's best friend since high school and nobody could have asked for a better friend. I think of him often and am so sad he had to leave us so soon. I loved him in so many ways and had funny, indescribable adventures with him but he was kinda nervous about our 'relationship', he didn't want to upset Hardy! (I'm sure Hardy would have been cool with it) Not to be, though. It took some time, but Birk finally married a good woman and it's really sad they didn't get more time together. I wish his life had been a lot longer since he had so much more to do. I hope to see you again, dear friend. Farewell.

Birk was my older brother's best friend and I thought of him as one of my best friends also. Nobody could make me laugh like he did. I loved him so much , and being with him was always a great adventure! Was so sorry he left us so soon. After working so many years he deserved a lot of time just to have fun and enjoy his life. I will always love him and remember him with a big smile on his face. Hopefully we'll meet again someday, Birk. I'm sure I know where you are.

Condolences to Birk's family. He was a junior high and high school friend. I never knew him to go anywhere without a smile on his face, and a glint of devilment in his eyes. I am so sorry for your loss.
