My Dear Aunt Bluma Kleinberg Schachter z"l

My Dear Aunt Bluma z"l

Auntie Bluma died on her birthday & although she wasn't even able to celebrate she was peaceful, I'm told.

She was my late Father, Nathan Schachter's z"l sister-in-law, married to my beloved Uncle Dave z"l.

At least she will be once again with Uncle Dave z"l, "best friends forever" on their wedding anniversary, May 28th. He's been standing closeby, quietly & lovingly waiting for her.

How can I celebrate Pesach without her in my life?

I will miss our shared times spent together in Montreal & Florida & Swampscott, going to shul; theater; dining out; going to driving ranges with her & Uncle Dave & my three sons, David, Yoni & Mikey; attending & celebrating their Bar Mitzvahs with us; dropping in all the time at Natie z"l & Rose's house.

We spendt umteem wonderful Pesach Seders with her & Dave & Alan, Mark, Jackie & Steven, singing, eating & being silly.

She made the best-kept-secret-recipe for KNEIDLACH, my favorite food, which she shared only with me .... not!! . Her Pesach Kitchen, ah, a dream!

She carried bowls of chicken soup from my Mum's kitchen to the Seder table without spilling a drop! She was the most efficient vacuumer after a family event! .

She was a great listener! She was such a strong & vibrant lady & beautiful, classy & chic!

I will miss her smiling & twinkling eyes! I will miss her directness!

To me she was always a member of the family, as a blood relative. She was never a 'Tzigikimener', as she would often think & say. She was always a part of all of us!

Words cannot express how much she meant to me & how much I will miss her in my life.

Thank G-d her suffering is over.

Goodbye Auntie Bluma. I love you forever!

To Allan, Mark, Jackie, and Steven,
I was so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. Although I don't think I've seen her since my wedding I was quite fond of her. One of the best presents I received when my second child was born was a picture frame from your mother; it was custom made and had all the details of the birth (weight, time of birth, etc.) taken from the birth announcement. I cherish it and it sits on my bedroom dresser to this day.
My condolences to all of you.
