Laura and Family,

Claire and I are deeply saddened by Brad's passing so suddenly. He took great care of me at Ellsworth and we became good friends from then on. He was a blessing at Claire and my wedding and in his usual way he took care of me then too. Our conversations and memories of our friendship will stay with me always. We heard last evening about Brad, and wanted to send our prayers. Memories of days spent in Minot (before kids) as well as memories of our families in Italy and again in Rapid City flooded my mind. You and the girls are in our prayers.

Brad was a great co-worker, having worked with him at Minot, Ellsworth, Peterson AFBs as well as an adjunct at CTU. I know I'll miss him and my thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Through the short time that I worked with Brad we became friends. Almost on a daily basis we would exchange military stories. His from and Air Force and mine from the Navy. He would always tell me and others that I was a little Brad. He helped me out in many ways. We even go into debates about the military and the government and more. The last time I talked with him, he told me to come and see him when i got back into town. The last time that i saw him was yesterday at his funeral. I drove 400 miles to see it. I'd like to help out anyway that I can. I'm going to miss him

@ CTU. It is not going to be the same, not seeing him walking through the door everyday and his smiling face. My prayers and deepest thoughts for the family are with you all.

There are not many people in this world who always have a smile and a laugh. Brad was one of them, and I regret that we never had the beer together that we talked about. Take that spirit to the spirit world Brad and we'll try to keep it alive here in your memory.

You will be missed, especially all of us here at CTU. I enjoyed your mentoring, help, and friendship. All is well higher up in heaven. God Bless you .

The Urban League Family

Brad was the type of person you only meet once or twice in a lifetime. He always had time to listen, jokes to tell, and an alternate perspective to offer. His perspectives always seemed to enlighten and uplift. Brad had a gift for seeing the big picture, and how it effected us little guys. He knew no limits in his compassion and caring of his fellow man. He was a gentleman, a man's man, a patriot, and a family man. In short he was someone who most of us aspire to be. He will be sorely missed, and fondly remembered.

Anyone who knew Brad Dunning has lost something. It is nice to converse with someone who will always give you the truth, even if you don’t like it, and there is something to be said for his respectfulness, humor, and alternate perspectives. In my eyes he served his country and his students with all his heart. My deepest sorrow goes to his family, close friends and co-workers.

Brad, You are the best professor I have ever had. I learned a great deal of history and the true meaning of why it is important in our lives. You have an unselfish and caring soul. I will miss your laugh more than anything.. You are a ray of sunshine!!!!

I'm gonna miss you Brad, Especaily your optimism and joy. I hope to see you again. Your Family will be in our prayers as I can only imagine how much they will miss you.

My condolences to you during this very difficult time. Brad aka "Major-Sir" was without a doubt a great person in my life. He was a motivator and advisor to me for over 2 years at Colorado Tech and no matter what the circumstances, he always made me laugh.

We are all shaken by your passing. I miss the hours we used to spend discussing everything under the sun. When I got the news I poured an Irish Whiskey and faced Colorado Springs to toast you: "Here's to B.B. Dunning, a better friend you will not find!" Our love and prayers are with you, Miss Laura, the girls, and your entire family.

You were a great advisor and were always very helpful to me. I didn't know you you for very long, but you definitely made a lasting impression.

I saw Brad almost every time I came down to campus to teach. He was always available, very friendly and helpful, and a comrade in razzing Mike Alexander. Everything from Brad's professionalism to his sense of humor will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

He will be missed by many.

Like I always told you , you are the father i never had. I miss you. School is not the same without you, it feels empty, it feels wrong being there and not hear you laugh or seeing you smiling at everyone or counseling a student. I will always remember your advice. You are a very intelligent man. When times got hard, you always helped me to keep on going even if i had to crawl, and i will continue to do that. I know that you promised me that you would be right there next to me at graduation and i know you will still be. I love you man and you will be missed greatly!
