Brenda Archuleta Obituary

Brenda Lee was called to the Lord's House after a courageous 3-year battle with lung cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, Sais, Jr., sons Ceasar (Jen) and Cory (Jenny) Archuleta, daughter Monica Mansker, and 7 grandchildren (Chris, Chelsea, Andrew, Alyssa, Dominic, Keegan, and Katelyn). Brenda was born in Monte Vista, CO on January 25, 1950 to Eloisa and Santiago Ortega, Sr., both who preceded her in death. She was the “baby sister of Santiago Jr., Daniel, Eloy, Paul Ortega, Grace Mejia, Norma Herrada (Benny), Emilia Aguilar, and Eileen Romero (Ben). A younger sister, Wanda Fay, preceded her in death during childhood. Brenda worked for 30 years at HP/Agilent and made many lifelong friendships. Besides being known as a fabulous cook, Brenda loved to dance, bowl, and cheer for the Broncos and Yankees. A private viewing for immediate family members will be on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10am at Cappadona Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11am at the Family Christian Center, 3018 N. Virginia St.

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE ENIRE FAMILY.
BRENDA WAS A TERRIFIC PERSON, WE HAD MANY GOOD TIMES AT HP. WE SHARED SO MANY STORIES ABOUT OUR CHILDREN. THEY WERE THE LIGHT OF HER LIFE.
STAY STRONG. LET THE GOOD TIMES CARRY YOU THROUGH THE BAD TIMES.

I worked with Brenda at Agilent for many years. I will always remember what a great cook and cookie baker she was. Brenda loved her family, and was a very kind person to everyone she met. Sais, I pray that God will send you some comfort when you think of all the great memories she left you and the family. Prayers for you, and all your family.

In the short time that I was blessed enough to know Brenda I realized that is was truly a blessing knowing such a wonderful and courageous woman. Brenda never met a stranger and truly touched the hearts of everyone she ever crossed paths with. Although she will be missed by so many I hope that your memories give you comfort. To all the family that I know and hold very dear to my heart I send my deepest sympathies.
