Brenda McCoy Obituary

October 19, 1923 - January 27, 2008. Brenda May McCoy, 84 of Colorado Springs, passed away on January 27, 2008. She was born in Reading, England on October 19, 1923 to Roland and Florence Cozens; in 1945 she met and married James Ducoin, Sr. In 1946 she immigrated to the U.S. aboard the Queen Mary. In 1953 she met and married Leroy McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands and her daughter, Vivian Williamson.She is survived by her sons, James Ducoin, Jr., and Michael McCoy of Colorado Springs, Colin McCoy of Flagstaff, AZ as well as ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A viewing is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, followed by a celebration of Brenda's life at 7:00 p.m. at Blunt Mortuary; 2229 West Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904. Brenda will be buried alongside her husband Leroy at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.
