Brian, It has been six long years since you left us. I still miss you so much. I am thankful that a part of you is with us in your kids. They look so much like you and they have your beautiful smile. I miss the heart to heart talks with you. I remember the night you spent at my house and later learned it was because you wanted to meet Kim's friend. I think of the times you took Brent and Matthew to the mall and talked low-rider cars with David. Until we meet again in the Arms of our Lord, I love you, Your aunt Lorrie.

My dearest Brian... There are no words to describe the joy you brought to my life. Time & distance never intruded on our lifelong romance. When I came to the realization you were "gone" I was helpless in my brothers arms. I told him I couldn’t believe you left me. He held me tight and said," Brian has never left you... He's waiting for you at the gates of heaven.." At that moment I felt my anguish diminish as I soaked in that thought. One day we'll meet again. Some sweet day.. Christi

I have prayed that no other mother I knew would feel the pain of losing a child, because truly, no one can fathom the pain it brings to our souls. Josie, I can feel your sorrow, as though it were my own. I have thought of you constantly since I heard of Brian's death. I know the journey will be hard. I know there will be times of great despair and a sense of being alone in this grief. I am asking that Jesus wrap His arms around you and carry you through. A mother's bond is not broken by death.
Love, Patty
