Brian passed away in Kansas due to complications from multiple sclerosis. Brian was born in Colorado Springs and was graduated from Coronado High School. Brian worked in the retail industry in Houston, Texas, later transferring to the Kansas City area. Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts at Ottawa University, after which he worked as a paralegal.
Brian enjoyed researching various academic topics online, as well as keeping up with politics and world affairs. Brian highly valued education, and often read contemporary and classical literature. Brian also enjoyed reading and writing poetry and essays, with his favorite poet being Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Brian is survived by his son, Adam; his brother, Eric and sister-in-law, Fiona; his parents Dennis and Linda; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
There will be no public memorial service for Brian. In lieu of flowers and cards, it was Brian's wish that donations be made to the National MS Society.
