Brian Day Obituary

Brian Alan Day was called Home to his Heavenly Father on May 21, 2014 after a courageous and inspiring battle with ALS. He was born August 27, 1970 in Kalamazoo, MI.

Brian graduated from Michigan State University and moved to Colorado Springs to pursue a career in the computer technology industry. He was actively involved in his church and Boy Scouts. He loved the outdoors and introducing his family and friends to new adventures; off-roading was his favorite.

Brian truly was a man of God, who knew His Savior and trusted in His sovereign plan over his life and circumstances. He exemplified a life of contentment, joy, peace, happiness, and an amazing sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Michelle, his sons Justin and Alec, parents Marvin and Dolores, and brother Eric (Jennifer).

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 27 at Austin Bluffs Evangelical Free Church, 3435 Maizeland Rd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ALS Association, 7403 Church Ranch Rd, Ste 109, Westminster, CO 80021.

Your family has been an inspiration to us. It was a blessing to have Brian as the ring bearer in our wedding 36 years ago. We enjoyed seeing Brian become a wonderful young man, husband, and father. We are thankful that he is now with his heavenly Father. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
