Dr. (Sheila) Brook Henderson, 81, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on November 9, 2024 peacefully in her home, surrounded by love.
Brook is survived by her two children, Jaime Stephen Valle-Terstege and Rachel Brook Wilson (Henderson), her three grandchildren, Alexandria Grace Valle-Corsello, Sarah Wilson and Jack Wilson, and her great grandson Mandolore Damien Clark, as well as her brother David Terstege and sister Nel Terstege.
Services to honor Brook will be held at All Souls Unitarian Church, 730 N. Tejon St, December 14, 2024 at 11am, followed immediately by food and fellowship at the same location. Let's send her out in style!

What a Good Friend! Brooke was the one I talked to when I first started dating this beautiful young lady. I was perplexed by the girls actions with, and towards, me, and was discussing it with Brooke. She said, "Oh my, I think she LOVES You!". I was dumbfounded- I just sat there with my mouth open... Turns out Brooke was right - she Did Love Me - and she Still Does! (Laura and I have now been married 44 years). Brooke was so essential in our developing relationship; as well as being such an awesome personal Friend and supporter. I Loved to make her laugh. She Lives in My Heart, So Comfortably! I had the absolute privilege of serving alongside Brook for a few years while I lived in Colorado Springs. What an amazing woman with such poise and grace. I am blessed to have known her. Sorrow and grief are hard but this too shall pass. Praying for her family.
