Bruce Raymond Anderson, 85, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Terrace Glen Village in Marion. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Bruce was born on November 21, 1936, in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Alfred and Clara (Kremple) Anderson. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. In 1961, Bruce was united in marriage to Bernice Coudray. He worked for the Civil Service, retiring in 1991. Bruce had a great sense of humor and made sure to live his best "second chance life". He will be greatly missed.
Bruce is survived and lovingly remembered by his four children, Timothy (Lorrie) Anderson, Shawn Hunt, Sam (Heidi Stahlberg) Anderson, and Nicole (Randy) Green; five grandchildren, Shannon Hunt, Amie (Michael) Spangler, Tyler Green, Braeden Green, and Carson Green; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Anderson.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Mercy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
