Bruce Peters Obituary
Born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Bruce grew up on his family farm, graduated from University of Iowa Medical School, served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight surgeon, was a professor at the University of Iowa and University of Texas medical schools, practiced neurology for 30 years in Colorado Springs, was awarded multiple patents, and filled hearts with joy, love, and fun for 79 wonderful years. The love of his life, Nancy (Harban) Peters; his children, Thom and Elaine, Beth and Rich Conant, and Ben and Sarah; along with five wonderful grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Gus, Katie, and Rachel, mourn him deeply and are so very thankful for our life with him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Half the Sky Giving Circle would be appreciated. To contribute, please write checks to Pikes Peak Community Foundation and specify Half the Sky - Bruce Peters on the memo line. Mail checks to Pikes Peak Community Foundation, 730 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
