Bruce Warren Tabberson, 68, passed away at home, surrounded by his family.
Bruce was born on July 22, 1956, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Harold and Adeline (Stelter) Tabberson. A graduate of Minneapolis Lutheran High and Concordia University, Bruce went on to study dentistry at the University of Minnesota. He married Donna Lee Euken of Oxnard, California, in 1981 and spent his early career with the US Navy with duty stations in California and Hawaii. In 1992 Bruce and Donna moved their three daughters to Colorado and began building a dental practice, which they faithfully grew until Bruce's retirement in 2020.
Bruce's greatest loves in life were his faith, his family - especially his seven grandchildren, caring for his patients, adventures in scuba diving, and maintaining a spectacular front lawn. He dreamed big and worked hard, loved his country, and laughed easily. His integrity and kindness will be remembered.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Lisa Carter, Meghan (Drew) Knofczynski, and Laura (Jackson) Collins and his grandchildren: Avonlea, Eileigh, Eve, Elliette, Rory, Esme, and Violet. His family finds comfort in knowing Bruce's confidence in his Savior. As his favorite Bible verse sums up, "...but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." -John 20:31

I only met him a few times through Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ but Bruce made a big impression on me. He was a great Christian example. "These things are written that so may believe that Jesus is the Christ and that believing you will have life in His name!

My memories of Bruce are from early OAFC summer training. I pray that you find comfort in knowing that Bruce rests in the arms of Jesus. Bruce's love for Jesus, music and sharing the Gospel are part of his legacy to the body of Christ.

We were stunned and grieved to learn of the passing of
our long-time dentist, Dr Tabberson. He was a terrific
dentist as well as a kind and caring person. Like us, he
had served in the U.S. Navy we used to exchange
“Navy stories” during our dental visits. We were
saddened when he retired; we mourn his passing.
Our only comfort is in knowing he lives on in Heaven
with our Savior.

I am deeply saddened by this loss. The world has lost an incredibly nice person and the dental profession has lost one of the best dentists ever. Dr. T was my dentist for over 20 years. There wasn´t a time when I saw him that he didn´t mention how much he loved being a dentist and that he never planned to retire. He was the most considerate, compassionate and conscientious dentist, as well as a true dental artist and perfectionist. He treated his patients like friends and I always felt he never met a stranger. I admired his optimistic, jovial personality, his dedicated work ethic and his constant good humor. He will be missed.

You were the kindest man I've ever worked for. You had patience, you knew how to laugh, & everyone loved you & you believed in Jesus Christ. I know you are with him now. Rest easy, all of us will see you again.

Bruce's cousin recommended him to us as our dentist when we moved to Colorado. We celebrate those years of friendship and wonderful dental treatment. His stories of the Concordias he attended (esp Seward, NE where he knew my dad as a professor) always brought laughter and joy. We have missed him since he retired. As he has moved from Time to Eternity we know that Christ's perpetual LIGHT is shining upon Bruce. But our world is less delightful without his presence. May God's PEACE fill Bruce's family and friends.
