Bryan McCullar Obituary

McCullar
Bryan McCullar
November 10, 1968
January 13, 2024

Bryan McCullar passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the age of 55. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, he, as the eldest of four children in an Air Force family, lived in various places. After graduating from Kaiserslautern High School in Germany, he later settled in Colorado.

He is survived by his wife Evelia Diaz, parents Carol and Jerry McCullar, brothers Jerry, Chris, and Jon (Theresa) McCullar, daughters Kylie (Jeremy) Kortuem and Shalyn (Cody) Lambert, stepchildren Giselle and Edy Vazquez, five nieces, three nephews, and five grandchildren.

Bryan's love for the family was always evident. He was a rock for many friends, especially for those within the K-Town Raiders community. He cherished those connections. He found peace camping and fishing in the Colorado outdoors. He always took pride in bringing his culinary skills to life in the kitchen, especially when cooking for his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and close friends.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, privately for family, and 5:00pm to 7:00 pm publicly for friends, at Angelus Chapel (1104 S. Circle Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909). Bryan will then be transported to Jasper, Alabama to be laid to rest next to his predecease grandparents, uncle, and aunt.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Bryan for about 15 years between Apple and Sanmina-SCI. He was a great person and was a good friend to me. I am deeply saddened by his loss. My thoughts are with his family during this sad time.

This is such a shock to us who knew Bryan. When I first met Bryan at Sanmina-sci, we found out we had something in common. I was stationed at ROB in K-Town just down the road from Bryans high school in 1986. We hit it off immediately. Bryan was such a great guy to be around and will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him. RIP my friend.

My Condolences to Bryan´s family and friends.
It was a shock to read about Bryan´s passing.
I met him when I was working at Sanmina-SCI.
