Carl Adams Obituary
He graduated St. Francis High School in 1956 and continued on to graduate with a Bachelors degree from Ft. Hays State College in Ft. Hays, Kansas. He then served four years in the Army in France where he was a Crytotype specialist.
Carl moved to Colorado Springs in 1966 and immediately called Colorado his home. He quickly became a devoted Broncos fan and an avid Rockhounder. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching sunrises and sunsets. Carl's hobby of rockhounding and woodwork will be what he is best remembered for.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Logan; daughters, Terri (Cottier) and Traci; and grandsons, Cody and Conner Cottier.
Carl's lighthearted and fun loving personality will be missed by all who loved him dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at The Springs Funeral Services. 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Carl. We first met in the late 70s or early 80s, working for the same employers for most of the following years. We shared a lot in common: work, family, background as youths and our passion for rockhounding and time in the mountains. We went to the hills a few time together rockhounding. I'll always have fond memories of those times and wish it had been more often. Unfortunately, we lost contact for the past few years. I hope he was able to retire. He was a dear friend and I'll keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers, especially when I'm in the hills.
