Carl Hobbs Obituary

Carl Scott "Tiger" Hobbs, 57, of Loveland, CO, passed away unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm at his home on February 21, 2015. While he had been employed as a security officer assigned to Water Pik until December 2014, his passion was music. "Tiger" was a family nickname. Carl also lived in Colorado Springs, Black Forest, Florence and Fort Collins, CO.

Carl is survived by his son, Gene Scott Montoya of Florence; his father, Gene (Bea) Lake of Florence; his step grandmother, June George of Colorado Springs; his sister, Nila Hobbs of Fort Collins; his brothers, Del Hobbs (Linda Purdum) of Denver, Kris Hobbs and Alan Hobbs of Tucson, AZ; half-brothers, Jay Dee (Stacy) Lake of Spokane, Washington, Marvin Lake of Denver; step-sisters, Janice Hobbs (Bob Hays) of Torrington, WY and Jacqueline Hobbs, as well as nieces, nephews and grand nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma E. Hobbs, adoptive father, Harold Carl Hobbs, PhD, step-brother, Harold Carl Hobbs II and grandparents.

Two Celebrations of Carl's Life for family and friends will be scheduled in June, one in Loveland and one in Colorado Springs.
