Carl Joseph Larick
52, Sydney

Carlie's family and friends are sad to announce his passing on Tuesday June 1,2010 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
He was born in Sydney on September 13,1957 to the late Alexander and Julia (March) Larick, who along with his brother Alexander, nephew, Blair, and grand nephew John David Burns, have predeceased him.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, camper and geocasher. He enjoyed these pastimes with family and friends. Carlie spent years tending to his mother and brother through their illnesses.

Carlie is survived by his sisters, Linda James, Helen Larick, Carol (David) Burns, Susan (Alan Bennett), Barbara (Clayton) MacNeil, and by many good friends, Paul, Ann, Kevin, Vanessa, Jimmy, Carl, Ellie, Donald, Carol and Danny.

He is also survived by his much loved nieces and nephews, Lynn and Kelly James, Jodean and Tracey Steele, David Burns, and Julie Burns Kalinowski, Marilyn Riley MacDonald, Mark Riley, Linda, Carol and Barbara Larick, Mistie, Adam and Liam MacNeil, Trisha Larick as well as many grand nieces and nephews, aunts, and cousin.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday June 3,2010 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. A memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating. Reception to follow the service. Interment to take place at a later date.

Family flowers only. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Finally the pain and suffering has stopped. May he rest in peace. We love you and will miss you, until we meet again.
