I think of Rink every day and wish we had just one more hour with you (well, some may wish for more, but usually by about an hour I was ready to leave and go shopping with Linda!).

As the holidays rush past us, I wish that we all remember how short life can be and we are thankful for those still here and the share the memories of those who aren't.

Please hug your loved ones and remind them of how precious the memories you are making today will be in the future.

I love all you all back in Colorado. I miss you guys and wish each and everyone of you all peace and joy for this holiday season.

I Found this for you. Rink and thought of the kinda Laughs U Gave us all.Since You Left us so here it is... An auto mechanic received a repair order that said to check for a clunking noise when going around corners.
He took the car out for a test drive and made two right turns, each time hearing a loud clunk.
Back at the shop, he returned the car to the service manager with this note: “Removed bowling ball from trunk.”

Whenever we took our vehicles for repair at "Don's Auto" on Fillmore, we always looked for Nick, John, "Rink" and his devoted proud Dad . "Rink" was a superb mechanic and we always depended on him to "get the job done" the right way. We were at the repair shop the other day; the place will never be the same without him! We know his death broke his Daddy's heart; his Dad was SO proud of him. "Rink" is sorely missed; he was a good man.

Linda, Will, Kenny & Carl, words cannot do justice to describe how deeply saddened I am to hear of Rink's passing, although it's been some time since I've seen you all, know you are in my thoughts and heart and I think of you all and our visits often. Rink was truly a unique and wonderful person, and while I will miss him along with everyone else that knew him, I will always remember him with that big grin on his face he always had. Much love to you all, I think of you often.

Till we see each other again someday cousin, I'll miss you.

Will, Stephanie, Emily and Charlotte Dix

Linda,
I feel very fortunate to have known Rink.
Rink was one of the nicest, kindest men I have ever known.
Rink was always ready to go the extra mile for family, friends and pretty much everyone. I will always remember his friendship as something special in my life.

John and I are so glad that we went to America last year, 2007, and were able to meet Rink. We found him fascinating to listen to and fun to be with. I personally will never forget my Interstate 25 Gold Wing ride!! I guess the world is made up of different characters and Rink's was unique. Such a sad loss.
Thinking of you all but especially Linda, love from John and Christine and the Aussie Family.
