Carol Barresi Obituary

Carol Jean Barresi, born March 1, 1961 in Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO.

Jeannie, loving wife and mother is survived by husband Doug Lofland and children Carmen, Robbie, and Gabi Lofland, mother Carolyn Barresi, sisters Mary Lynn Barresi, Patty Schweizer, and Susan Noe, brother-in-law Rob Lofland, sisters-in-law Donna Martz and Sheila Lofland, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

A tenacious entrepreneur, Jeannie inspired Harry Potter fans around the world with her themed adventures. She loved to stay busy traveling the world, especially Scotland. Her passion was volunteering with organizations such as Make a Wish and Realm of Caring. Jeannie was a strong, independent woman that walked into every situation with a smile on her face and a fire in her heart; she will be dearly missed by all.

Services will start at 3 PM on Wednesday, February 3 at Cappadonna Funeral Home, 1020 E Fillmore St.

In lieu of flowers, Jeannie's wishes were for donations to be made to one of her favorite organizations, Realm of Caring.
