Carol Beardsley Obituary

Carol passed away peacefully, with characteristic courage and dignity, at home on April 22, 2015.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 4, 1943 to Fran and Les Murray. Carol spent early years in La Jolla, California and as a teenager moved to Colorado Springs. She graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School and attended the University of Colorado Boulder. Married to Kirk Beardsley on June 12, 1964 in La Jolla, Carol took exceptional pride in her family. She enjoyed fly-fishing, bridge and time with friends.

Pre-deceased by her infant son, Gus Baldwin Beardsley, Carol is survived by her husband, Kirk, children; Wynn and Ryan Martens, Kirk and Corinne Beardsley, and grandchildren; Gus Martens, Jack, Amelia, and Sommer Beardsley.

A private family internment will take place in Rosita, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, Carol asked that donations be made to Pikes Peak Hospice at:
