Carol Jones Obituary
She was a bright, spirited woman who fought ovarian cancer for over seven years. She was an inspiration. As a Christian in her last days she said, "Jesus needs me."
Her father was awarded four Bronze Stars for WWII-Pacific action. The flag flew daily at her childhood home in Overland Park, Kansas and in Colorado Springs.
She belonged to the VFW Women's Auxiliary and was a Compassion International sponsor.
Carol retired after may years at Manitou Springs Elementary as a respected counselor.
An alum of the University of Kansas and a strong Jayhawk basketball fan, she watched every game.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; daughter, Kelly; sons, Chris, Ty, Torre, and Justin and six grandchildren.
Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church, 4825 North Academy Boulevard with a reception to follow.

I send sympathy and love as I fondly remember Carol. She was a friend in junior high and high school. Part of a wonderful family, I'm sure she followed that tradition in raising her own family.
