To Carol and family,
we are saddened to hear of the passing of Carson. He was such a wonderful man. He was so funny and loved to tell jokes. Never a dull moment with Carson, because he was so much fun to be around! We will always remember and cherish all of the good times that we spent together. And though Carson is gone, he will forever be in our thoughts and in our hearts. Rest in peace. May God bless you Carol and family and help you through this most difficult time. We are so sorry for your loss. Carson will be missed.

I met Kit at Ft Knox in 1987. Hard to remember those days, however I do know he took me under his wing for I was a new soldier. I had no idea about the Army and still growing up. He left Ft Knox and went to Baumholder, Germany, this is were the fun began, little did I know I would also end up there. So I finally arrive at the barracks and wow, Carol was one of my roommates. Poor Carol, LOL having me for a roommate possibly took her by surprise. I remember when I got there my pay was so messed up so she assisted me until it got fixed. What a wonderful person to take such good care of me. By this time we all had been great friends and partied a lot. So what do you do in Baumholder when it is snowing and your bored, you have a jungle juice party in the NCO's barracks. Carol had the party in her room and boy did we have a lot of juice and card games, just great fun. I do have to tell you only male soldiers may actually have a game called; who can hurl the farthest out the window, of course Kit got some good laughs. Kit caught me having some fun, and as usual everyone found out. Those had to be some of my best times in the Army. Carson and Carol had to be some of my best friends, someone had to look out for me. It turned out a bunch of us got stationed at Ft Hood, Tx. I looked forward to going over there house, they always made sure we had fun. Played card games, washed our vehicles, drank beer drink and had a blast. Carson ended up getting out of the Army to become a truck driver and getting his CDL. I remember while Kit was on one of his trips, I got too drunk to drive back to post. Thank gosh they had there home on the way back from Austin. I pulled in, fell asleep, only to wake up to Carol knocking on my window. She said come on in I have breakfast. She was always so good with taking care of folks. When you have friends like Carson and Carol, you always keep them in heart and thoughts. They came to visit me when I was a Drill Sergeant at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo. I had them over night at my home, we played cards, and Carson as usual had many jokes. The good thing was if they could not find me, Carol could call my Mom, this way we were sure to stay in contact. The good things was when you have such great people in your life you can always pick up as if you never stopped. So with all that said, as I was just getting in my vehicle heading for work I got a text from one of our brothers, he informed me that Carson went to be with the Lord. My heart hurt so bad I lost a great friend and a brother in arms. Kit had a gift of laughter and surprises, he will be missed by many. Thank you Kit for being my friend and all the good times you gave us. I will miss you deeply, RIP, see you on the other side. Love you so much Carol you are in my prayers. With love, Kathi

Kit,
It is still hard to believe that you are not here. I will always remember the holidays when i would come out to the house and you always had tons of jokes to tell. I will also remember whether we were playing spades, poker, card games or even greedy you always had to have a drink whether it was soda, water or even a beer. If you made a mistake you had to drink. And everytime we played card games the rules always changed each hand. You also loved your turkey so much and your canadian mist. I remember that one day i made a drink with pineapple vodka and pineapple juice and you wanted to taste it, and then you were like can you make me one:). You were a very good person and had a good heart. You could make anyone's day whether they were having a good day or bad day you always put a smile on someones face and made it better. I will miss you so much and will also miss that laugh of yours
Love you always

Carson was the very first driving instructor I hired after becoming director at the school. He was among the best and a great person to be around, genuinely a nice guy. Will miss him. Sharon and Tom Williams
