Casey Scoles Obituary

Casey is alive in Heaven. He met Jesus on September 30, 2008. Congestive Heart Failure sent him home to be with his Savior. He was a selfless, hard working and compassionate man who was strong in his faith and loved his family. Casey was born May 25, 1943, in Pueblo, CO., to Clessen and Viola. (Nemier) Scoles. He graduated from East High School in 1961 and from University of Colorado at Boulder in 1966 with a degree in Pharmacology. After graduation he married Marjorie Clare Carlson on June 17, 1967, whom he met at CU Boulder. He resided in Colorado Springs where he worked as a Pharmacy Manager for Target and Safeway. Casey was a very loyal and dedicated husband, dad and grandpa. He is survived by his loving wife Marge of Colorado Springs, daughter Allie Taylor "Brenda" of Colorado Springs; son Jason Scoles of Anchor Pointe, Alaska; son and daughter –in-law, Andrew and Christina Scoles of Hollywood, CA; grandchildren, Justin and Joshua of Colorado Springs; mother, Viola Scoles of Pueblo, CO. He was preceded in death by his father Clessen Scoles of Pueblo, CO and his infant sister. Casey was an avid scuba diver and traveled all over the world. He also enjoyed woodworking, camping, sports and spent quality time with his grandsons. Casey took great pride in his work and was always willing to help others in need, as he always put other's needs before his own. The family would like to thank everyone for the support and prayers that have been offered. They are praying for friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to help you smile again. Their prayer and hope is that everyone find peace in the knowledge that Casey is in Heaven with his Lord and Creator.

Dear Marge and family,
We were shocked to learn of Casey's death. What peace there is in our faith of an eternal home. We trust Jesus will comfort your heart.
It has been a long time since we were young couples together at what is now Grace Presbyterian. What special memories we have of those times together.

Dear Marge and family,
I was shocked to hear of Casey's death being so young. I will always remember our time together, and the beautiful sculpture I have of his is one of my prize possessions.
The sculpture is various stages of a flower opening up--sorta like our lives culminating in eternal life. My thoughts, prayers and hugs are with you. Love to you,Norma Vanman

Dear Marge and family,
My heart aches for the thought of you having to part with your precious husband so early in life. I thank God that you can know the hope of the Resurrected Christ who has a home for Casey in heaven. I find comfort in a short quote from James Montgomery Boice: "For the Christian, death is not the end, but the beginning. It is the entrance of the soul into the presence of our loving God." May this comfort you also. Janice Roach Bjelland
