Kay (Cassandra) Van Doren was born October 8th, 1959 on Kindley AFB, Bermuda.
Kay spent most of her life traveling the world with her family as the middle daughter of three.
This continued into her adult life alongside her husband of 25 years Lt. Col. (Retired) Michael Van Doren and two children, Jennifer Garner and Michael Van Doren II.
Kay had a passion for enlightening childrens' minds by educating them about where they came from and where they can go.
Kay had a nurturing spirit from being a stay at home mom to caring for anyone who crossed her path. She also was the rock for her late mother Sally Stewart and her late husband Michael Van Doren.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer Garner (43), Michael Van Doren II (34); sisters, Carol Jaqua and Sue Kadinger; grandchildren, Brittney Moseng (23), Braiden Garner (21), and Jackson Bradfield (10); great-grandchildren, Kaeson Moseng (4) and Keagan Moseng (11 Mo).
Graveside, 12:00PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
