Castulo Rodriguez Rodriguez was born on July 1, 1925 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico and passed away on February 18, 2022 in Colorado Springs, CO.
A Funeral service will be held March 10 at 11:30am at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO.
Burial will be held March 11 at 11am at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO.
Castulo was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and served in the Army for 27 years. He earned 2 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and a Bronze Star.
Castulo is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Maria Mercedes Rodriguez.
Castulo is survived by his children; Lucy (Dave) Madeline (Jorge), Eva, Jose (Linda), Ray (Natalie), and Lilly, Sister; Julian Ortiz, Grandchildren; Wilfredo, Sigfredo, Ivelis, Jose, Manuel, Veronica, Matthew, Gabriel, Esteban, Roxanne, and Alex, Great-Grandchildren; Natalia, Wilfredo, Mariana, Jose Luis, Phoenix, Isabelle, Santiago, and Zain.
Pallbearers will be Wilfredo Matos, Sigfredo Matos, Matthew Bjork, Gabriel Rivera, Esteban Rivera, and Alex Rodriguez.
