Catherine (Cathy) M. Cerrillo, a recent retiree and life-long Colorado resident, unexpectedly passed on July 6th, 2021 at the age of 64.
Catherine was born October 30th, 1956, in Colorado Springs, CO to Johnny and Rosalie Ornelas. She was the 2nd of 8 children. Catherine was educated at St. Mary's High School, as well as college courses in accounting, receiving certificates of completion.
Catherine retired with 30 years of service as an administrative specialist for the 4th Judicial District of the Colorado Courts. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. She was a devout member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Catherine was a selfless person, always looking out for others and motivating them to become their best selves. She brought light to everyone's life and will continue to brighten them with her memories.
Catherine leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Melissa and Chelsey Cerrillo; 3 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of friends and family.
Viewing at The Springs Funeral Services on Monday July 12th from 4-7p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Tuesday July 13th at 11a.m.

Life is a blessing. May the good times and big hugs remain with joy. As always in my heart of goods you will be. I think now of our time together in Las Vegas with Melissa and Chelsea...
