I have fond memories of growing up in Colorado Springs with Aimee. Her Mom Catherine was always a kind and caring person and so welcoming of Aimee's friends to their home. From the fun times spent swimming in the pool to the raucous garage band events on Friday and Saturday evenings and to my adulthood when I would visit from Denver, Catherine was consistently a gracious host and friend.

I grew up in the Spillane household, and have great memories of Catherine rolling her eyes at all of the silliness that ensued. She was my garden mentor, and could always be relied on to let me know what nasty weed was taking over my flowers. I know that on a personal level she endured several tragic family events, but was always the epitome of grace and strength. I will miss her. My condolences go out to the entire family. I love you guys!
