Catherine Wallace Obituary

Catherine Ann Wallace (formerly of Colorado Springs) went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov 1, 2013. She was born in Butte, MT to James and Anne Larkin.

While attending Sacred Heart School of Nursing she met Airman Richard Wallace on a blind date and they were married in Jan of 1953. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage together finally settling in N. Ft. Myers, FL in 1997. Richard died in Nov 2007.

After a 30 year nursing career Cathy started a second career with Mary Kay Cosmetics in 1978 and quickly achieved Director status in 1982. Her team the "Candoers" truly embraced the can-do attitude. She was an active ABWA member in both CO and FL and was a leader in her Del Tura, FL neighborhood entertainment committee, ensuring the residents enjoyed fun dances and live music.

She is survived by her three children: Michael Wallace of McHenry, MD; Terri (Robert) Dobson of Santa Fe, NM; and Kevin (Wanda) Wallace of Bradenton, FL along with 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will take place Nov 15 from 2-5pm at the Del Tura Clubhouse in N. Ft. Myers, FL.
