Cecil Core Rendon Obituary

Cecil Core Rendon born October 4th, 1935 in San Angelo, TX passed away October 6, 2015 at the age of 80.

He was very dedicated to his family and country. He provided and cared for his wife Anna and their 5 children with love and devotion. He served his country in the United States Army with courage, honor, and valor for 20 years. He fought for our freedom 3 separate tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the military, he moved his family to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he served his community for 10 years as a deputy sheriff for El Paso County. He loved to golf and fish and did both quite often.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Anna Rendon, his 5 children: Robert Rendon, Dieter (Tamera) Rendon, Anita Rendon-Pate, Elida (Charles) Rendon-Garnier, Core Rendon, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers; Frank Rendon, Norberto Rendon; sister; Guadalupe Barrios and Herminia Mendez.

He is preceded in death by parents Core and Celia Rendon, sisters; Elida Cantu, Irene Cortez, Marie Charles, Velma Marfileno, Celia Rendon and brother, Hermilo Rendon.

So sorry to hear about our neighbor Cecil. Played a lot of golf with him and Anna and will miss him. We at Ranchero Village will miss him and send all our love and prayers to his family.
