Cecil Renfro Memoriam

5 Years, 60 months, 260 weeks, 1,825 days, 43,800 hours….. Time is easy to measure, and no matter what, it keeps moving- ready or not. When we were young, time couldn't move fast enough in our fifteenth year as we eyed our first car and dreamt about what songs we'd play with all the windows down. I imagine as we age, we wish upon a star that time would slow down as our body ages and our eyes become weary from the stresses of work and daily grinds that we put ourselves through. It takes an incredible person to seemingly make time stand still. For those that knew you, for those that were truly connected to your heart, that's exactly what you've done. So much has changed in 5 years; new jobs, new family additions and even new homes. When we look back on the days that we spent with you, an energy fills the room. We all travel back to our favorite memories of you on a holiday, a fishing getaway, or just an average Sunday. The memories remain vivid and clear and begin to fill with audibles, none more recognizable than your laugh. As you've done so many times since that fateful day of April 20th, 2005, you've reminded us we will never lose your memories or your spirit. It is something we take along with us on our unexplored journeys. You've done something that many aspire to do in their lifetime. You've left a legacy that will travel through time as our families grow and our routines evolve into nothing more than daily reminisces of the life that we've lived. You were a timeless man, never forgotten, and forever missed, and always in our hearts. Thank you for the impressions you've made on so many, those you've touched keep your spirit traveling and strive to make the same impact on others, as you did us. You will always be our shining star. Your loving family.
