My fondest memory was when Chad and I flew to Los Angeles and took surfing lessons in Redondo Beach and went skateboarding on the Venice Boardwalk. I miss his positive spirit and friendly greetings.

Chad was a classmate of mine at The Colorado Springs School, primarily during 2nd semester of Middle School when I was in the 8th grade. I had just transferred from public school, where I had dealt with some teasing and bullying, and difficulties with "fitting in." At CSS, Chad treated me with utmost respect, and he really encouraged me during my transition to CSS. I will never forget his friendship, kindness, and sense of humor. Thank you for that. Rest in Peace, good friend. You shall not be forgotten.

Chad and I became friends through Colorado Cyclist almost 15 years ago. We rode together, worked together, traveled together on several occasions. Chad was in my wedding and visited me several times after I moved to San Diego. He came out to visit in March, shortly after his parents passed away, we spent some soul searching times together where he and I attended a bicycle fit class together. My last visit was in December of 2019, he seemed to be in good spirits and had lots of plans for the future. We exchanged messages often and had a few conversation, up until a month before he passed away. Chad had a huge heart and was everyones biggest fan. We shared the same birthday and he would always call to wish me a happy birthday. He had his intense moments, but I always found his soft side in the midst of it all. He will be missed greatly by my family and me.
