Charles Branson Obituary
Charlie was a loving father, brother and husband. He retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of active duty. His Air Force career took he and his family to Germany, Turkey, England and Thailand.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Frances; his daughter, Jahanna Michelle Swenson; brother, William Nathaniel Branson and a sister-in-law Alice Foster and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Sharon and Jennifer and seven siblings.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Payne Chapel AME, 3625 Marion Drive, Colorado Springs. Interment in Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.

My deepest condolences. Charlie and I were stationed at Korat AB, Thailand in 1975. We instantly became friends. Although we weren't in constant contact I always felt a deep kinship with Charlie.

Charlie B was a tremendous person. He would call me on my birthday for years. We shared the same day. He gave me great advice on more than a few occasions that impacted life decisions. God Bless you Charlie. We are so fortunate to have your light in our lives. Matty P

It was an honor and a privilege to work with Charlie at Wells Fargo. We shared a love for gospel hymns and soft shoe dancing. Heaven is richer. My condolences to your family.

It is with a heavy heart I am writing this. Sharon is gone and now Charlie. I did not know about Sharon and I have been feeling so sad, I thought she would always be at your house. Charlie said something to me when my father passed I will share with you. "When you feel the wind in your hair and a brush on your cheek it will be your father, it will be Charlie for you. If you need anything or just to talk please let me know.
