Charles Cozzolino Obituary

Charles Cozzolino, age 70, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by love.

Born on September 24, 1955, in Benton Harbor, MI, he was a devoted son, brother, husband, uncle, friend, and a steady presence to all who knew him. He lived his life with quiet strength, loyalty, and a deep care for family.

Even in illness, he showed remarkable courage and grace. His strength during this time was an inspiration, and his presence will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Cox of Gobles, MI., his brother Don Cozzolino of Stevensville, MI, and five nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by wife, Cris Timmons Cozzolino and parents, Bernice and Charles Cozzolino of Sister Lakes, MI.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who provided compassionate care, as well as to all who offered prayers, support, and kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elistrong Foundation which supports families fighting pediatric cancer, if desired.

He will be remembered always-for his love, his strength, and the mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him.

I was so sorry to read about Charles passing. I still remember growing up and visiting with our family at Round Lake, I know he's with the Lord.

Uncle Chuck will be missed, I will always have fond memories of holidays at the dome - he and Cris were one of a kind. A recent picture during his fight, with a smile.

Don & Lynette. We're sorry to hear about Chuck's passing but glad (and I'm sure he was glad, too) that he had your love and support as he battled his cancer. He fought the good fight and you were there to help him with encouragement throughout the battle. We hope all your fond memories of Chuck stifle the emptiness of your loss. God bless you guys.

Don, so sorry to hear about your brother. I met him one time with you in Michigan and he seemed like a really nice man. It´s always hard to lose someone at such a young age but he´s at rest now and not fighting cancer. Please rest assured that Donna and me will be praying for him and your family.
