Charles Daniels Obituary

Daniels
CHARLES M. DANIELS
September 5, 1953 December 5, 2018
Charles M Daniels, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1965, died on December 5, 2018, at the age of 65, after his valiant fight with bladder cancer. He attended Horace Mann Junior High and was a graduate of Wasson High School, where he learned to love drama. He was an avid movie watcher, the older the better. He was a former retail clerk with King Soopers.
Charlie was born in Washington DC on September 5, 1953 to Charles and Dolores Daniels. He had the opportunity to travel and see the world with his family as his Dad was in the Air Force.
Charlie had a love for the outdoors. He was always feeding the birds that visited his backyard. He enjoyed gardening and worked to keep his yard full of flowers of all kinds, especially his roses. He was the "go to guy" for keeping flowers blooming year after year.
Charlie was the best brother a sister could ask for. The memories made with him will always be treasured. You never know how much you'll miss the phone calls, until there's no need for the calls.
"I'll see you on the other side of the stars" or "Somewhere over the rainbow".
Charlie was Uncle to Sam, Tom, Bill, and Marty Harris, Andrea (Gregg) Sloniker and Jason (Melissa Nelson) Kuhns; Great Uncle to Bekah, Hannah, and Samuel Harris, Janay Harris (William Cassity), Aitana (Logan) Rocho, Kaehli Sloniker, Brendan Nelson, and Emma Nelson-Kuhns; and a friend to many.
Charlie is survived by his sister Alice (John) Kuhns. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Pat Harris.
A Celebration of life (Irish Wake) will be held for Charlie on Sunday, January 27th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm., at Springs Ranch Gold Clubhouse, 3525 Tutt Boulevard.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK. 73123 or the charity of your choice.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure. Renee Wood.
