Charles "Chuck" Doole

Charles "Chuck" Doole Passed away March 16, 2018 with family by his side.
Born in Saint Paul, MN to the late Donald and Rachel Doole on August 18, 1946.
Chuck attended St. Andrews Elementary and Cretin High School in St. Paul.
Chuck Proudly Served in the U.S. Army going to Vietnam, receiving 2 purple hearts, an Army Commendation medal and a CIB. He was also a life member of VFW POST 4051.
Chuck worked for S. P. Richards Co. selling office supplies for over 30 years. Also owning Sign of the Rose Florist with his wife.
Chuck's greatest loves were his family and country. He thrived on watching and hearing his grandkids accomplishments. He enjoyed golf, he loved to hate bowling and played mean at cards.
Survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda (Andres); 4 Children, Deanna (Steve) Mason, Jennifer (George) Carlson, David (Janelle) Doole and Lori Doole; 10 grandchildren, Anders, Steven, Melissa, Jessica, Paden, Christina, Matt, Jillian, Jack and Carson.
Services will be held Friday, March 23, at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church 420 N. Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs.
Interment will take place in the Fall of 2018 when the Pikes Peak National Cemetery opens.

I can remember when Uncle Chuck lived in Memphis and took David (my brother), Danny, and myself swimming at the Country Club he was a member of. He even took the three of us up to the 10 meter diving platform. Awesome memories of a great Uncle. I will miss him dearly.

We met and married while we were both in the military at the Presidio in San Francisco.Had a special and fun time together, with two wonderful daughters from that relationship. So sorry that your mortal life is over, but know your with our Heavenly Father and loving mom and dad again. We are all so blessed to have had you a part of our lives.

Linda, Chuck loved Chuck, and I liked, respected and admired him. You have no idea the excitement here when our daughter called and said she'd found him - Chuck had been looking for him since 'Nam. He will bee missed, and we'll think of him often.
