Words cannot adequately express my profound sense of loss. There will never be a truer friend, a more dedicated partner, or a kinder, more genuinely admired person. His irresistible nature, joyful spirit, and incredible knack for spinning a tale (with that mischievous twinkle in his eye) are unequaled and so sorely missed.
With the deepest sadness I wish to express my sincere sympathy to his cherished wife Jeanne, his treasured Current family, his prized golfing buddies, and his countless friends. There will never be another Chuck. His gracious, loving spirit will live forever in our hearts.

Chuck,
I’m glad I was able to work with you. I’m sorry we never got the chance to golf together. To one of the finest men I’ve ever known, you will be missed.

I believe Chuck is playing a round of golf today with Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson and Leon Dove.
Chuck was fun to play golf with and was always a true gentleman on the course.
I will miss him very much.

We have lost a great person and friend. Chuck was just a great guy, in many areas. I played a lot of tournament and friendly golf with Chuck for many years, and will miss him as a friend. He loved the game and the camaraderie with it. We will all miss him.

Chuck,
Friend, fellow employee, fellow golfer, I say goodbye for now. You changed my life by helping me to love the game of golf & life. Thanks so much for that question you asked a long time ago. We almost made it to the finals. so long my friend I will see you on the other side.

It's with great sadness that I have to say goodbye to Chuck this way. I've known him since our high school days growing up. We played sports together, joined the Navy and went active duty together, although, I missed the call and we ended up on different ships. We were able to keep in touch and got out at the same time to further our education at Montana State University where Chuck met Jeannie. With a little match making on my part, Chuck and Jeannie became an item and when I was married, the four of us became friends. We got together as often as we could but not as often as we would have liked with our living hear in California. I was doubly saddened when I recently heard of the passing of his father, Leon, this last year and was late in getting back to Chuck about his loss. I regret that. I will miss our visits, his great sense of humor, and his ribbing at times especially when trying to get advantage of a stroke or two on the golf course. There is no question he was an avid golfer and our competitions were great. I met a lot of nice people through him especially his golfing buddies. I'll always cherish our trips to Los Cruces, N.M. once a year where I had the honor of meeting most of them. I know they miss him as much as I do. Jeannie, be strong, we love you and hope to see you soon.
Love, Paul and Julie Nichwander

I worked with Chuck for 10 years at Current before I moved to Washington state in 2005. He was the best of the best in all that he did and such a great all around guy! I smile whenever I see an older, white RX7(?) because it always reminds me of him. He will be greatly missed!

Chuck-
You were always there with a smile and hugs! It's hard to believe we will never see your smiling face on this earth again. We will see you in heaven smiling with big wings some day.
You will be truly missed!

I was very shocked to hear of Chuck Dove's passing last Tuesday. Many of us at Current were very upset to hear the news and we just cannot believe it is real. Chuck was a wonderful friend and coworker. He added life to the Advertising Department at Current with his shining personality. He was always the one to count on to make our day brighter with his humor and wonderful stories. We all know that he loved golf and now I hope he is up there with his wings and golf bag putting in the afterlife and enjoying every minute.
Jeanne, I am very sorry that you have lost your best friend and I hope that you always cherish the memories of Chuck, I know everyone whom he knew will. He was a wonderful person and will never be forgotten.
